At the moment the Scouting Resources Swapshop is unavailable.
Hiya, my name is Fred, call me on ****, email me at ****, send badges to ****
The Swapshop allows you to request information or advice from the Scouting Resources team.
If you have a submission that you want to appear on Scouting Resources, something that you think other people will find useful, please send it to us.
The Swapshop requests are NOT viewable by the public
Information sent via the Swapshop is NOT viewable by the public
The swapshop is not a bulletin board and other users of the website will not see your request. If you wish to contact other scouters you will be better served by other websites or perhaps a medium like IRC. Messages thanking the Scouting Resources team would be better placed on the Forums, although please note that any personal details such as a telephone number or address will be removed and any requests for contact must go through the proper scouting channels. That is not to say you cannot send in a piece of information or advice. If you have a submission you wish to make please send it to us and we will put it up on the Scouting Resources site with full acknowledgment.
Scouting Resources is based in the UK
Please note that Scouting Resources is a UK based website and is focused mainly on Scouting within the UK. If you wish to ask about a topic specific to another country you would be better served contacting the main Scouting Organization in that country. If you are unsure how to do this then please contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
Want to find a Group?
Please note that Scouting Resources is a UK based website and is focused mainly on Scouting within the UK. If you live in another country and wish to find your local Group you would be better served contacting the main Scouting Organization in that country. Some of these have an excellent group finder (the BSA springs to mind). If you want to join Scouting in the UK simply use this link
Requests need to be fairly specific
We will always reply to vague requests and ask for more specifics. Quite apart from the fact that if we were to send you everything we have relating to map work (for example) you would need a second garage to store it in, most requests of this type are actually after a specific example. Please try to explain your needs and we can better serve you. Even if you are not sure what it is you want just by explaining the context of your needs we can help you (e.g. "I have to run a map work base in an upcoming cub competition, its for 8-10 year olds and 20 mins a session")
